April 15th, 2011Pork Chile Verde on Sundays!
March 14th, 2010Although we do not offer breakfast, we wanted to bring one of our favorites to the Seacoast. Our delicious and tender Pork Chile Verde. When I lived in Colorado, the boys and I would venture down to one of the many dive breakfast places in Colorado Springs (can you say King Chef), and I would end up with Juevos Rancheros with Chili Verde. Sounds good doesn’t it? Come try our deliciously spicy Pork Chile Verde on Sundays.

Las Olas Annual T-shirt Contest rules and news!
March 13th, 2010Las Olas 2nd Annual T shirt Design Contest
As promised, Las Olas Taqueria is hosting its 2nd annual T shirt design contest. Last years contest was such a success that we decided to do it again this year. Last year’s design winner was Stan Chamallas who created the Day of the Dead shirt that we currently sell as our Las Olas T’s. (A new batch is being printed at this time so look out for the new ones) We LOVED it and so did you all. Matty and I can’t wait to see what kind of designs come to us this year. The winner will receive a T shirt with the his/her design on it and a $50 Las Olas gift card. Of course the shirts will be for sale at each restaurant to our customers.
The Possibilities are endless with few restrictions on your creativity. Get those creative juices flowing!
RULES: We have just a couple….
*You must incorporate the words Las Olas Taqueria in your design.
*Your design must have a clear sense of the meaning of the words “Las Olas”. Las Olas means the waves in Spanish. Of course it is open to your interpretation. Design themes last year included (but not limited to) waves, surfing, beach, day of the dead . And could be designed with various effects: ie graffiti, tattoo, vintage, retro, cartoon, whimsical, black and white/color or all your own. Basically do what you want and have fun.
*The design must be wearable by children and adults alike. Basically keep it “clean”.
*You may submit as many entries as you’d like.
* Once you submit a design it becomes property of Las Olas Taqueria. We reserve the rights to alter colors as we may need. Your design may be used for promotional purposes, on the website, Facebook and the like. You will be credited for your design in an announcement in our May/June newsletter following the contest.
